Brian Arkins
Brian Arkins is Professor of Classics at the National University of Ireland, Galway. He was educated at Clongowes Wood College and at University College, Dublin, where he obtained an M.A. in Classics and a Ph.D. in Latin. He is the author of ten books of criticism, including three on Latin poetry, and several on Reception Studies.
